Another item found around the house, this writing case belonged to my Dad, he loved to write letters to my Mum during the war (WWII) I still have those little gems as well !! (a bit risque), the lock is broken and the leather worn and torn, but I will treasure it forever !!

Baby Boy - Freebie
Carol requested something for her new baby grandson, I think these are appropriate !
I seem to be in a bit of a creative slump at the moment, but I'm sure that I will pick up soon.
The pain of my hip is getting me down, I wish I did not fear hip replacement surgery so much, I could have had it done by now and be on the road to recovery, but my fears are holding me back, and the pain just keeps getting more intense. Scrapbooking is my only salvation (it gets my mind of the pain) but I can only sit at the computer for very short bursts of time now !!

Anita asked me for some Precious Moments Papers - here they are Anita, but I must apologise for the quality of the graphics, they are the best that I could obtain from the web. I have made the papers 12" x 12" at 300 dpi, there is only one download but I have shown 2 preview pages so that you can see the 12 papers that I have made. About Simple Desktops

Boys Hero 4 - Freebie
These papers have been made at 72 ppi so will probably not be of sufficient quality for printing !!
The last of the Boys Hero Series, this one was a long time coming but as you all know I have been spending some time doing LO's of my own lately, just to try and keep up to date !!

The Beatles Papers 2 - Freebie
I received my first request for ages from Kathy, she is a Beatles fan, and wanted to scrap some pages about "The Beatles" so.... after months of NOT designing this was a challenge but I am pleased with the results, I hope you are also Kathy !!

ScrappyAggie sent me a copy of this picture that she received by e-mail, and we were both inspired by it, I don't know if there is any copyright on this picture, but Aggie has scrapped it beautifully, and I wanted to make a paper out of it for our American cousins.
Aggie would like to give credit to Scrapbook Flair for their Home of the Brave kit that she used in her LO.
I would like to give credit to Aggie for forwarding the picture to me, and to whoever owns the copyright (I would assume the USA Military).

Road to Recovery
My operation is done and I am on the road to recovery, I am doing much better than I had anticipated, obviously all those prayers on my behalf have worked a treat. I am walking with crutches, and I am feeling no pain at all, oh !!! the peace of no pain, how wonderful it feels.
Soon I will be back to scrapping I'm sure, but then again, I might be too busy walking around to sit on the computer working, who knows ? We'll see eh ? !!

MY IMPENDING OPERATION
All being well I will be having my operation on 29th April. If everything goes according to Hoyle I will be in the Surgical Hospital for 5 days then a Rehabilitation Hospital for 10 days, I would presume that it will be a few more weeks after that before I will be able to sit for any length of time on my computer desk. So I will be missing in action for a few weeks. I look forward to a speedy recovery and getting back to normal after that. Thank you so much to all the people that have sent me greetings, I really am grateful to you all, it makes me feel good to read them over when I start to feel down.
