I realise that it is time I explained my disappearance to you. I have been struggling for over two and a half years now with an arthritic hip. It has got so bad that the ball joint is now fused with the hip socket, there is nothing left for me to do but have a total hip replacement.
I goes without saying that I am petrified !!! I have put it off and put it off, hoping that by some miracle I could learn to live with it. I realise now that this is not going to happen and there are days when I would prefer death, to putting up with this pain any longer (not every day, but some days !). The only work I do any more is on the Project 365, which doesn't require a lot of concentration. My surgery is scheduled for the end of April, so hopefully after a few months recovery (God Willing) I will be back with heaps more freebies for you. Until then If you could spare me a prayer or two, I would be most grateful !!

Good luck with your surgery....and I am sure everything will go well and in 3 months you will be saying..."what was I worried about", should have had it done earlier. LOL this is from someone who would feel exactly the same as you. You have my prayers and thoughts.

Good luck with your surgery. I had hip surgery last April. It will be a long road to recover but will be worth it. Prayers and thoughts will be with you.

I wish you all the best with your up coming surgery. My prayers go out to you. While being afraid is totaly normal. I'm sure you will do well. My mom had the same a few years ago. Just try to stay strong.
Stick with the therapy afterwords.

Hi!!! Sorry to read about your need for a new hip! BUT.... I'm sure you will be anxious but you will be so relieved after! My husband had to have 2 hip replacements at 30 from AVN caused by his prednisone and he was in SO much pain before .... and now- he is pretty much pain free in hips.... I'll send prayers!
